Work with Severna Builds

Severna Builds Collaboration and Ethics Statement

Severna Builds is a hands on DIY channel focused on laser projects, workshop builds, and practical tutorials for makers who want honest guidance and real world results.

I work with brands selectively and only when the product or service is a strong fit for the channel and genuinely useful to the audience.

What makes a strong fit

The best partnerships fit naturally into the kind of projects I already create. That usually means tools, materials, or services that help makers work more safely, improve results, or solve practical problems.

While the channel is currently focused on laser projects, workshop builds, and practical maker tutorials, I am also interested in selected adjacent maker tools, including 3D printing related products, when they are a strong fit for the audience.

How collaborations work

Paid sponsorships are always clearly disclosed.

I keep full editorial control over what I create, how I present it, and what I say about it. Receiving a product does not guarantee coverage, a dedicated review, or a positive opinion.

Standards I do not compromise on

I do not accept collaborations that require a positive review, misleading claims, or hidden limitations.

I do not hand over creative control or submit full videos for approval, aside from technical fact checks on sponsor messaging when needed.

I do not promote products or practices that appear unsafe, unfinished, or likely to create a poor customer experience.

Expectations

I do my best to work with timelines when possible, but proper testing takes time. I do not guarantee views, conversions, or specific performance.
