The Bambu Lab R1 is getting LightBurn support. But here's the question I haven't heard nearly as much: Will R1 owners actually need it? If you're already a LightBurn user with years of projects and experience, having that option could be a big deal. But if the Bambu Lab R1 is your first laser and Bambu Suite already does everything you need, would you spend more money and learn another piece of software? I've used LightBurn, xTool Studio, and Bambu Suite, and my own answer to that question has changed quite a bit. Let's talk about it.
