I spent the better part of 2 weeks talking about the xTool X1, but the conversation quickly shifted to the recent product teasers from Bambu Lab. It is easy to get caught up in the hype surrounding the Bambu Lab R1, but I look at why I initially missed the significance of this release. We discuss the potential impact on hobbyists and how this compares to the setup we see with the xTool X1. This is not a review. I do not have an R1. This is simply my reaction as a hobbyist looking at the machine from the same perspective as most of you.
